IF YOU LOVE AN EMPATH, KNOW THIS:

1) You take your feelings very seriously. To the rest of the world, we may seem oversensitive, but you know that your feelings are meant to guide you.

2) When an empath loves you, everything about you, around you and inside you, will become a part of them too. There may be times when they need their space to separate you from themselves.

3) They will do almost anything to make you happy, so if they say they can't do whatever you want, it's not to make you angry. If they say no to you, there's a good reason.

4) If you think they are using their gift to manipulate you, or any situation, you are mistaken. Honesty and kindness are what genuine empaths value above all else.

5) These are not entrapment ponies. They are unable to time their moments of clarity at your convenience. If they could save you time and trouble, they would, but that's not how things work.

6) They know they are difficult to love. They hate that their inability to sugar coat life can harm you. They know that it is difficult to stand idly by and watch helplessly while they endure moments of pain; this is what makes them push you back. For this reason so many of them choose not to allow this type of love.

7) They cannot be less intense, ignore wrongs, or reject their intuition. They would try for you, but that's not who they are.

8) If you doubt them and feel frustrated, they already know.

9) When you think the burden of love outweighs the rewards, they understand if you walk away. They know suffering, but you suffer for their sake goes straight to the heart.

10) It's a struggle to maintain a daily balance, but they don't want your sympathy.They have no complaints. They are not seeking special favors. They're just trying to let you know that there are reasons for their behavior. They are not expecting you to get them completely, but it means everything to them when you try.
